About the Wisconsin PGA
The Wisconsin Section is one of the 41 sections that comprise the regional entities of the PGA of America. Over 500 members and associates belong to the Wisconsin Section, stretching from areas in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to almost the entire state of Wisconsin. Annually, the Wisconsin Section conducts over 40 professional events, operates their foundation – PGA Reach Wisconsin, and participates in several growth-of-the-game activities including PGA Junior League, Drive, Chip and Putt and PGA HOPE. Wisconsin PGA Office is located at 11350 W. Theo Trecker Way in West Allis, Wis.

Brodell & Company Go Back-To-Back at the TaylorMade Pro-Am
The 2024 WPGA pro-am season got underway with a bang on Wednesday as the TaylorMade Pro-Am supported by Tito's Vodka and the American Family Insurance Championship would visit Erin Hills. It marked the first time that the series has visited Erin Hills and gave the attendees an opportunity to see the course before it officially opened for the season.

Leonard & Ringelstetter Come Up Clutch In Overtime
The individual slate of events for the Wisconsin PGA would kick off earlier this week at Washington County GC. For the seventh straight year the Assistant Professional Stroke Play and Memorial Classic would highlight a busy Monday. The annual stroke play events would again take place simultaneously, while being supported by the Wisconsin Golf Salespersons Association and Rolex.

David Bach is your 2024 WPGA Match Play Champion!! He credits his length off the tee, his aggressive style of play, and familiarity with the site venue, but match play can have its ups and downs.
However, Bach has an excellent record in the match play format. In addition to reaching the ...final last year, he made it to the quarterfinals in 2022, the first time he played in the tournament. He also won the Assistant Match Play title last year.
The WPGA would like to thank our event partners, StrackaLine, Ahead, Bushnell Golf, and the PGA Tour, for lending some terrific support to the championship.
A big thank you also goes out to everyone at Destination Kohler. 2024 marked the third time that the WPGA has been fortunate to utilize the four course Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits rotation for our Match Play and it always is a special week.

A big congratulations to David Bach of @GolfKohler. He captured the 58th Wisconsin PGA Match Play Championship title a short time ago on the Straits Course @GolfKohler. It was a great battle between Bach and Andy Hansen of @UClubMKE. At one point Bach was 4up, but Hansen battled
This clutch chip helps David Bach get up and down for par on no. 18. It delivers him the win 1up.
We are headed to no. 18. Hansen keeps the match going with this great chip. They each make bogey. Bach 1up with 1 to play.
A big bogey putt after an unplayable lie keeps Hansen 1down to Bach.
Bach goes back up by one on no. 13. Hansen is right of the green in two and then is unable to get a 12 foot par putt to drop.
They then match pars on no. 14, after some great shots around the green by both players.
Four birdies in a row. Five of his last six. This one coming on the short par-3 12th. Back to all square
Another one out of Hansen, making a charge. Third birdie in a row, this one on the par-5 11th.
Hansen hits his second shot on no. 10 to within 2 feet and the birdie is conceded. Bach is unable to match. Bach 2up thru 10.
